Prepare your submission

Multilingual abstract guidelines

To promote linguistic diversity, inclusion and accessibility, IRCHSS 2027 accepts abstracts in English, with a separate track featuring ten other languages.

Non-English abstracts must include a complete English translation in the same document. Prepare 250–300 words per language; Mandarin Chinese abstracts use 400–500 characters, with a separate 250–300-word English translation.

Read complete abstract preparation requirements

General submission requirements

  • Non-English submissions must include a fully standardized English translation matching the local-language version in a parallel layout within a single document file. Abstracts written entirely in English are also accepted.
  • Use 250–300 words for each local-language abstract and independently for its English translation. Mandarin Chinese uses 400–500 characters for the local-language abstract; its English translation still requires 250–300 words.
  • Place the local-language title and text block first, followed by a single blank line, then the English title and translated text block immediately underneath.
  • Include 3–5 keywords in the appropriate language immediately below each respective text block, in both the local language and English.
  • Write one paragraph per language. No figures, tables or citations are permitted within the abstract body.
